1. OVERVIEW
These Event Rules govern player participation in the FC Mobile SEA Premier League Pre-Season, an Event within the EA SPORTS FC Mobile SEA competitive ecosystem.
These Event Rules establish the regulations governing player eligibility, competition structure, Match procedures, technical requirements, competitive integrity, and disciplinary matters.
All Competitors are required to read, understand, and comply with these Event Rules in their entirety. Any violation of these Event Rules may result in penalties, Match forfeiture, point deductions, suspension, disqualification, or additional disciplinary action as determined by Tournament Administration.
Lack of awareness or understanding of these Event Rules shall not constitute a valid excuse for non-compliance.
2. DEFINITIONS
For purposes of these Event Rules, the following terms shall have the meanings set forth below.
2.1. Governing Documents
โ Event Rules: These Event Rules governing the FC Mobile SEA Premier League Pre-Season.
2.2. Competition Terms
โ Event: The FC Mobile SEA Premier League Pre-Season.
โ Match: A Head-to-Head (1v1) competitive fixture played within EA SPORTS FC Mobile.
โ Competitor: Any officially invited and registered player participating in the Event.
โ Tournament Administration: Individuals authorized by the Organizer to administer, operate, and enforce the Event and these Event Rules.
โ Broadcast Match: Any Match selected for official livestream or broadcast programming.
โ No Show: Failure of a Competitor to appear within the designated Match schedule communicated by Tournament Administration.
โ Disqualification: Removal of a Competitor from the Event due to rule violations, misconduct, or disciplinary action.
2.3. Platforms and Communication
โ Discord: The official communication platform designated by Tournament Administration for Event operations and official communications.
3. ELIGIBILITY
3.1. General Eligibility
Only officially invited Competitors are eligible to participate in the Event.
All Competitors must compete using the account and in-game name registered with Tournament Administration.
3.2. Qualification Requirement
Competitors may not:
โ Use another playerโs account
โ Share accounts
โ Use unregistered accounts
โ Compete on behalf of another individual
โ Use unauthorized third-party software, applications, or tools
Any violation may result in immediate disqualification.
3.3. Device Requirements
All Matches must be played exclusively on smartphones.
The use of tablets, iPads, emulators, or any unsupported devices is strictly prohibited.
3.4. In-Game Name Requirements
All in-game names must comply with EA SPORTS Positive Play standards.
Offensive, discriminatory, vulgar, or inappropriate in-game names may be rejected or require immediate modification at the discretion of Tournament Administration.
4. EVENT FORMAT
4.1. Tournament Structure
The Event shall be conducted across three (3) competition days using a multi-stage group format.
All Matches shall be played using EA SPORTS FC Mobile Head-to-Head (1v1) mode.
Tournament Administration reserves the right to adjust the competition structure, Match schedule, or Match order where necessary for operational, broadcast, or competitive integrity purposes.
4.2. Day One โ Group Stage
Twelve (12) Competitors shall participate in Day One.
4.2.1. Group Distribution
โ Competitors shall be divided into four (4) groups:
โ Group A
โ Group B
โ Group C
โ Group D
โ Each group shall consist of three (3) Competitors.
4.2.2. Match Format
โ Matches shall be played in a Single Round Robin format.
โ Each Competitor shall play against every other Competitor within their respective group one (1) time.
4.2.3. Point System
Points shall be awarded as follows:
โ Win: Three (3) points
โ Draw: One (1) point
โ Loss: Zero (0) points
4.2.4. Advancement
The top two (2) Competitors from each group shall advance to Day Two.
4.3. Day Two โ Top 8 Stage
Eight (8) Competitors advancing from Day One shall participate in Day Two.
4.3.1. Group Distribution
โ Competitors shall be divided into two (2) groups:
โ Group A
โ Group B
โ Each group shall consist of four (4) Competitors.
4.3.2. Match Format
โ Matches shall be played in a Single Round Robin format.
โ Each Competitor shall play against every other Competitor within their respective group one (1) time.
4.3.3. Point System
Points shall be awarded as follows:
โ Win: Three (3) points
โ Draw: One (1) point
โ Loss: Zero (0) points
4.3.4. Advancement
The top two (2) Competitors from each group shall advance to Day Three.
4.4. Day Three โ Top 4 Playoffs
Four (4) Competitors advancing from Day Two shall qualify for the Top 4 Playoffs.
4.4.1. Playoff Format
Seed #1 vs Seed #4
Seed #2 vs Seed #3
โ Winners advance to the Upper Bracket Final.
โ Losers advance to the Lower Bracket.
4.4.2. Match Format
โ Top 4 Matches BO1
โ Upper Bracket Final BO1
โ Lower Bracket Round BO1
โ Lower Bracket Final BO1
โ 3rd Place Match BO1
โ Grand Final BO3
4.4.3. Draw Procedure
If a Match ends in a draw, a Golden Goal Match shall be played immediately.
The first Competitor to score shall be declared the winner.
4.4.4. Final Placement
โ Grand Final Winner: Event Champion
โ Grand Final Runner-Up: 2nd Place
โ 3rd Place Match Winner: 3rd Place
4.4.5. FC Pro Qualification
The top two (2) Competitors based on the final Event standings shall qualify as the official SEA representatives for the FC Pro competition, subject to eligibility requirements determined by Tournament Administration and EA SPORTS.
4.5. Seeding and Group Draw Procedures
4.5.1. Initial Seeding โ Day One
Prior to the commencement of Day One Matches, Tournament Administration shall conduct an official draw to determine the initial group placement of all Competitors.
The draw process shall be conducted off-stream before the start of the competition schedule.
Tournament Administration shall retain full authority regarding:
โ Draw procedures
โ Group assignments
โ Seeding methodology
โ Operational adjustments
4.5.2. Secondary Seeding โ Day Two
Following the conclusion of the final Match on Day One, Tournament Administration shall conduct an additional draw to determine the group placement for Day Two.
Competitors advancing from Day One shall be re-seeded into the next stage through a randomized draw process administered by Tournament Administration.
For example:
โ The Rank 1 Competitor from Group A may be randomly assigned into a Day Two group.
โ If the Rank 1 Competitor from Group A is assigned into Group A for Day Two, then the Rank 2 Competitor from the same group shall automatically be placed into the opposite group.
The same process shall apply to all advancing Competitors from Groups A, B, C, and D.
Tournament Administration reserves the right to modify or adjust the seeding process where necessary to preserve competitive integrity, scheduling efficiency, or operational requirements.
4.6. Tiebreakers
If two (2) or more Competitors are tied in points within the standings, rankings shall be determined using the following criteria, applied in order:
โ Goal Difference (GD)
โ Goals Scored (GS)
โ Head-to-Head Result
โ Additional criteria determined by Tournament Administration
All tiebreaker decisions made by Tournament Administration shall be final and binding.
4.7. Match Scheduling
All Match schedules shall be determined and communicated by Tournament Administration.
Matches selected for broadcast, livestream, or featured programming may only begin upon official instruction from Tournament Administration.
Any Match started without approval from Tournament Administration may be declared invalid and subject to replay or disciplinary action.
5. MATCH RULES
5.1. Match Settings
All Matches shall be played using EA SPORTS FC Mobile Head-to-Head (1v1) mode.
Tournament Administration reserves the right to modify Match settings where necessary for competitive integrity or operational purposes.
5.2. Gameplay Restrictions
The following are permitted:
โ Ranked-up player items
โ Evolved player items
โ Primary and secondary player positions
โ Official in-game tactical systems and gameplay mechanics
The following restrictions shall apply:
โ No OVR restrictions
โ The use of Badges is strictly prohibited
โ Player items that contain any PlayStyles are strictly prohibited
5.3. Match Procedure
Competitors must:
โ Be ready at the scheduled Match time
โ Follow all instructions from Tournament Administration
โ Join the designated Match lobby
โ Confirm Match results immediately after completion
Matches selected for broadcast may only begin upon approval from Tournament Administration.
5.4. Disconnects and Technical Issues
A Match restart may be permitted if:
โ A disconnect occurs before any goals are scored
โ The Match remains tied
โ The Match timer has not exceeded ten (10) in-game minutes
โ Tournament Administration confirms a verified system issue
Tournament Administration shall determine whether a Match will be replayed, resumed, or finalized.
5.5. Internet and Connection Responsibility
Each Competitor is solely responsible for maintaining a stable internet connection and functional gameplay environment.
Repeated technical issues may result in penalties or Match forfeiture.
5.6. Forfeits and No Shows
Competitors failing to appear within the designated Match schedule may:
โ Receive a Match loss
โ Receive point deductions
โ Be disqualified from the Event
Tournament Administration reserves the right to determine all rulings relating to forfeits, delays, and attendance violations.
5.7. Disputes
Competitors must immediately report any Match issue, rule violation, or technical problem to Tournament Administration.
Supporting evidence may include:
โ Screenshots
โ Video recordings
โ Match records
โ Relevant timestamps
Failure to report an issue immediately may result in the Match result being upheld as final.
False, misleading, incomplete, or bad-faith reports may result in disciplinary action.
5.8. Authority of Tournament Administration
Tournament Administration reserves full authority to:
โ Interpret these Event Rules
โ Resolve disputes
โ Investigate violations
โ Determine Match rulings
โ Issue penalties and disciplinary action
All decisions made by Tournament Administration shall be final and binding.
6. PLAYER CONDUCT
6.1. Competitive Integrity
All forms of cheating, collusion, Match manipulation, or unfair play are strictly prohibited.
Prohibited conduct includes:
โ Intentionally losing Matches
โ Coordinating Match outcomes
โ Deliberately transferring points or advantages
โ Exploiting bugs or unintended game mechanics
โ Using unauthorized tools or software
Any violation may result in penalties, Match forfeiture, suspension, or disqualification.
6.2. Professional Conduct
All Competitors are expected to maintain professional behavior throughout the Event.
The following behavior is strictly prohibited:
โ Harassment or abusive conduct
โ Hate speech or discriminatory remarks
โ Threatening behavior
โ Excessive toxicity
โ Disruptive conduct affecting Event operations
โ Refusal to follow Tournament Administration instructions
6.3. Camera and Environment Compliance
All Competitors are required to remain on camera through the designated Discord channel during official Match operations.
Tournament Administration reserves the right to conduct:
โ Camera verification
โ Identity verification
โ Device inspections
โ Gameplay environment checks
Failure to comply may result in penalties or disqualification.
7. GENERAL PROVISIONS
7.1. Amendments
Tournament Administration reserves the right to amend, modify, or update these Event Rules at any time.
Any updates shall become effective immediately upon official announcement.
7.2. Final Authority
Tournament Administration shall retain final authority regarding:
โ Rule interpretation
โ Match rulings
โ Technical decisions
โ Operational procedures
โ Disciplinary matters
All decisions shall be final and binding.
7.3. Severability
If any provision of these Event Rules is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
7.4. Language
In the event of any discrepancy between translated versions of these Event Rules, the English version shall prevail and control.
7.5. Data Protection
The Organizer and EA SPORTS may collect, store, process, and use personal information provided by Competitors for the purposes of Event administration, competitive operations, communications, broadcast activities, promotional activities, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
By participating in the Event, Competitors acknowledge and consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and any privacy policies communicated by the Organizer or EA SPORTS.
7.6. Anti-Corruption and Fair Competition
Competitors shall not engage in any form of bribery, corruption, improper influence, or conduct intended to unfairly affect the outcome or administration of the Event.
Any attempt to offer, request, receive, or provide improper benefits, incentives, payments, gifts, or favors in connection with the Event may result in immediate disciplinary action, including disqualification and further action as determined by Tournament Administration and EA SPORTS.
7.7. Governing Law
These Event Rules shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable rules, policies, and competitive regulations established by EA SPORTS and the Organizer.
Any dispute arising from or relating to the Event shall first be addressed through Tournament Administration. Tournament Administration and EA SPORTS reserve the right to make final determinations regarding all Event-related matters, including eligibility, competition operations, disciplinary decisions, and rule enforcement.
7.8. Acceptance and Acknowledgement
By signing below, the Team Manager and Competitor acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Event Rules and any instructions issued by Tournament Administration.
